Role Overview
MDA Reliance HR is hiring an experienced Fire Protection Engineer for a client project based in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the design, review, and implementation of fire protection systems in line with international fire safety codes and industry best practices, ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design, layout, and specification of fire protection systems for industrial and commercial facilities
- Ensure fire engineering solutions comply with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements
- Coordinate with project and safety teams to integrate fire protection measures into overall site design
- Review and assess fire risk factors and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies
- Liaise with contractors and vendors on the installation and commissioning of fire protection systems
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and drawings related to fire engineering scope
- Conduct site inspections to verify system compliance and identify potential hazards
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in fire engineering
- Intermediate knowledge of industrial safety practices and standards
- Solid understanding of fire protection systems (detection, suppression, alarm systems)
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Willingness to relocate and work on-site in Saudi Arabia
- Strong communication and coordination skills for cross-functional project work
